Pani Puri Easy Respie
Pani puri is a popular Indian street food that consists of small, crispy puris filled with a mixture of spicy potatoes, chickpeas, chutneys, and flavored water. Here's an easy recipe for making Pani puri at home:
Ingredients:
- 50-60 puri
- 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Tamarind chutney and green chutney, to taste
- 1 cup chilled water
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves
- 2 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon black salt
Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, boiled chickpeas, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander leaves, chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt to taste.

Add a spoonful of tamarind chutney and green chutney to the mixture and mix well.

In a blender, blend together the mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and chilled water to make the Pani (flavored water).

To serve, make a small hole in the center of each puri and fill it with the potato-chickpea mixture.

Dip the filled puri into the Pani and eat immediately.
